The Unthinking Caterpillar
No no no no no!
My car is NOT a good place to make your chrysalis!
I can't go anywhere until it's transformed. Then I might use some tweezers and move it somewhere safer. Still thinking about what to attach it with... glue?
I've had to transfer most of our population of caterpillars to the school swan plants because they've run out of leaves on ours.
Oh dear! I have heard of others glueing them some place else, but not sure what sort of glue they used. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteum can't help either on the adhesive advice......
ReplyDeleteUm, have you got a spare hubcap?? Or are you willing to go without for a few days?! LOL :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen they fall off at kindy they use a plastic clothes peg to hang them off the plant. How funny it chose your car!
ReplyDeleteNow how have I not foudn your blog before, LOL. I will deffinately be visiting more! Love the look of your roast vege salad!
ReplyDeleteCan't help with the crysalis, but I am sure you will figure something out.
BTW thanks for visiting my blog! Adding you to blog lines now!
That poor little guy!
ReplyDeleteHow inconsiderate?!?!? Yes, we have moved them, have used a spring clothes peg to hang it, as long as it can hang so that it can get out it'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteOh No! That's too funny! I can't be much help...maybe try some super glue on a stick? Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSo, what did you end up doing? I hope you were able to transfer him to a plant.
ReplyDeleteWhat was he expecting to eat when he turned into a butterfly?
Now that is wild, Penny! I have never heard of anyone doing that! One learns something new everyday! I think it's a great idea!
ReplyDeletePoor caterpillar! The photo is beautiful though. It took me awhile to even realize that it was on a wheel.
