Well I did finally make the ravioli last week but totally changed the recipe beyond recognition! The original recipe is geared towards the seafood end of the spectrum which DH doesn't particularly like. I was attracted to the pumpkin seed aspect of it, so I added some toasted ground almonds, ricotta, sage and chives instead of miso and tofu. I liked the result but DH thought they were too dry. Oh well. DS liked them - he calls them "little pillows".

  1. Mmmm sounds really yummy - would love your recipie!

  2. I think you are brave to even attempt making ravioli. It seems to always sit on my to do another day list.

  3. Wow, I have never made my own ravioli before...looks like fun!

    Thanks for sharing!

  4. I remember my sister set out to make eggplant ravioli when we were teenagers. She spent at least five hours with the dough, the pasta machine, the filling . . . and she made three ravioli. Total. We were pretty hungry that night.

Anyway, I admire the way you plan menus and stick with them! I need to start being better at that.
