No tanks for that

Anyone know of a tank cleaning/water tank / cabling company that has lime green trucks? One hit us last night on Don Buck Rd around 6.30pm and didn't stop. We think it likely they are based round Kumeu/Greenhithe.

We are all ok, just got a fright. Thankfully it was Rod's company car and not ours - his is much more robust. It was inches away from Lydia. :-(

Wheel was knocked out of alignment and the hub cap damaged.

Green paint chips

Panel was split open - that's Lydia's door it just missed.

  1. My goodness, that must have been scary! But I'm so glad that you are all okay.
I can't believe the truck didn't stop - HORRIBLE!! I hope you can find them. Surely if this was CSI they'd just take some green paint samples and run a few tests and voila! Culprit found! Maybe there were some witnesses who will come forward??

  2. Wow that is scary. And amazing (and illegal) that they didn't stop. Hope you have laid a complaint with the police (although they may not accord it high priorty sadly). Their truck must be damaged. Glad everyone is OK but that is way too close to your wee girl!

  5. That's just dreadful! I suppose you didn't manage to get even part of a registration plate? I hope that you are feeling better and I do think that you should report it to the police. Thank goodness it was not closer to Lydia

  10. OMG, Penny, my heart just did a huge leap reading this and seeing the pictures!

What a relief that you are all safe!

The man upstairs most definitely was watching over you.

I cannot believe someone would carry on driving after hitting you like this! Without doubt, they must have felt hit.

  11. Firstly I am glad your all okay. Secondly that is scary also when you look at the damage. I hope you can find the person who did this. What an ahole of a driver to pretend it didnt happen and carry on.
