I was super daring today and ventured into an Indian supermarket to pick up some special chick pea curry stuff a friend recommended ... better than the old yellow curry powder my mum used in the curried sausages of the 80's ... complete with raisins ... nice! Love the felt slippers ... maybe I should drag out the fluffy wool stuff and have a go. I used to order from a place up north somewhere ... but I couldn't find the link for you sorry.Beverleyhttp://bubblesofmylife.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26429870.post-39597502792099452882010-05-31T17:36:05.672+12:002010-05-31T17:36:05.672+12:00Lots of change going on in your world, all good th...Lots of change going on in your world, all good things as well.

Awwww at the kimonos, they are so cute. I remember the days of creating a pizza in home ec class in 81 with the scone base and the spaghetti on top lol. I remember using scone dough as a pizza base, once upon a time! Although we never put spaghetti on top :) My memories of Australian cuisine as a child are pretty similar to yours. Italian and Chinese were the only restaurants I remember being around. Curries using curry powder, and chop suey using a packet of chicken noodle soup were family staples.Sally Cummingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01854191139134804256noreply@blogger.com
